Member Biography

ARTIST STATEMENT

"As I become aware of my impact on our global home, windows open to help me to see and create work from my experiences and my journey with art. While sailing and ski instructing in the Northwest for the last twenty-five years, taking photographs and plein-air painting on my sailboat and in my yard, my art has now become a meeting between the trees, earth, rain, snow and sun. I am drawn to the out-of-doors and nature. I feel whole when I spend part of the day out-of-doors. This is my love.

I do not know where I am going, but I am on my way and the door is opening to help me understand my life symbols and energy and how I am going to impose it on my work, as I see it."
