ARTIST'S STATEMENT

"Two years ago I pulled all my paintings out of galleries so that I could concentrate on painting the human form quickly and accurately!  (It’s harder than it looks).   I took three classes a week:  one from Ned Mueller and two from Liana Bennett.  Additionally, I took several workshops and painted on my own and with friends.  The paintings that I am doing now are of beautiful women with attitude!  I love to paint an expression that let’s the viewer know what the girl is thinking.  I feel so blessed that I was able to take this time to learn and perfect exactly what I want to paint.  Now I’m ready to show them off!"

About Me

My favorite color is red!
Red nails, red lips, red hearts,
red roses, red wine.

I have red hair.

I wear my hair up in two
Minnie Mouse pom-poms.

I love Minnie Mouse!

People remember me because of my hair.
Sometimes I can’t remember them,
so I just hug and kiss everyone.

My kitchen cupboards are decorated
with vintage pin-up girls.
I’ve got disco balls
and a fireplace wall covered
with disco-ball mirrors.
I love the way the light
reflects and refracts
all around the room
when the sun hits it.  I love sun!

I’m hooked on Dilitante’s
from Trader Joes.
Not just that they’re chocolate,
but the colors are so vibrant.
Did I mention I love rainbows?

Rhinestone Tiaras, 5” stiletto heels,
little black spandex dress
up to my thighs.
(in my dreams.)

I talk with my hands.
In a foreign country I can make myself understood by using charades.
I love to travel.  Anywhere.
Especially in our motor home.
I love Italy.  I am Italian.  And Irish.

Bling and glitter makes me smile.
I wish I could carry a wand around with me
that would throw fairy dust.
