Barbara Walker

ARTIST STATEMENT

"My paintings are panoramas, a wide view that includes the contours and repeating patterns of land, water and sky. A bird's eye view of a dream place, a rolling land with pathways.

I use shapes and colors to indicate space, time and place. Pathways are about a personal journey through which we make discoveries. In each of my paintings, as I work through the process with paint and canvas, I reveal how I feel about my journey."
