March 7- April 12, 2020

Women Painters of Washington is pleased to present our 2020 Spring Juried show “Present Tense,” featuring works by 38 current member artists. This theme is inspired by the fact that we are celebrating our 90 year anniversary as an organization. Women Painters of Washington was founded at the beginning of the great depression and our journey has brought us through to the high tech industry boom in the Pacific Northwest. This show is intended to emphasize our current styles, mediums, and themes amidst the backdrop of 90 years of cultural influences in this region. A special thanks to Matzke Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Park for hosting us at this beautiful enchanted forest location and to Karla Matzke for being our curator and juror for this show.
