July 5 – September 29, 2017
Have you ever wondered how an artist moves forward with their work while also remaining true to their inner muse – – the themes that they return to again and again over time? Twenty-two member artists explore the connections or “threads” that run through their artistic endeavors over years of art-making.
The artists display earlier works alongside more recent creations that reflect diverse and personal reoccurring elements. Despite changes in media, subject, or size, the “threads” that link current and earlier works might include persistent color choices, favorite landscape themes, or deeply-felt concepts that have been developed over an artistic career.
Come see and learn from the artists themselves the ties that connect their work over decades of creative expression. Join the artists for an opening reception on Thursday, July 6, 4-6pm, where some will share their insights into the personal “threads” that run through their work.
