A historical and contemporary look at the kind of work women have become known for…or not!
Women’s Work is a juried exhibition featuring small works in a variety of mediums and styles. This eclectic group of 42 artists from Women Painters of Washington have interpreted the theme of “women’s work” in a variety of styles, ranging from abstract to representational.

The Juror for this show is internationally acclaimed Seattle artist Cappy Thompson. She is known for her unique methods of painting on glass. You can see her glass curtain wall installation, “I was dreaming of Spirit Animals” at Sea-Tac Airport and her mural at the Tacoma Museum of Glass. Cappy has shown her large painted glass vessels at the Bellevue Arts Museum and she serves on the BAM advisory board.
